a taste of s'pore.

Woke up around 9 something (thanks Ktran) to get ready for early dimsum with Wai Zin, Chong Shin, and Ktran. Got to Causeway Bay around 11 something, and had a dimsum FEAST. it was good. it was damn good. it was a nice place too. not loud at all. very quiet, and very nicely decorated, and good service. pricey, but, food was naaice.

then Ktran headed back to UST, while, the 3 of us went to Wan Chai to get WaiZin's egg tarts. then we went to a bookstore, electronics place (got a USB finally), Hang Hau, and then to the market at Hang Hau...reminds me of S'pore's "bah sah?"...wet market. There were live chickens in cages, fish jumping out of their tanks (it was swimming on the floor), lots of fruits, veggies, and raw meat (there was an ox tail...i mean, with the fur and everything...) I felt like I was in Singapore with the 2 Singaporeans. how homey. they were more than entertaining today. couldn't stop laughing.

Then came back, took a nap for an hour (so good), and woke up and ate with them, again. They made soup with choi, squid balls, and chicken. It was good. Kinda like home food.

And man, singlish is infectious.
My english is going to get destroyed by the end of this trip.

But good day today. I enjoyed. It felt nice to speak Mandarin too.

So, no diet again I guess.
