- headed to Kwun Tong at 7ish for Forbidden Kingdom that turned into Run Papa Run
- no karaoke, so went back to rez
- slept in Ktran's room, and the rest apparently stayed up until the break of dawn

April 25:
- i forgot when i woke up. either 12 or 1:30
- dealt with some unfinished bplan business
- was feeling like crap, couldn't go to LC's dinner
- me and Kerks slept from 3-6:30ish
- worked on resume, went to Ktran's room
- the crew came to look at Ktran's 1800+ Viet pics
- went back to sleep around 3am

quick day recap:
- went to class, talked to the LJ. WAHAHAHAHAHA. too bad he slept through the whole class.
- since no G&T today, went to LG3 with Ktran and worked on entre from 12 - 5:30. she left around 3:30. aaron came back and sat with me. nice seeing and talking to him again.
- then met up with ktran around 6 to go to TST to see Peru and Nat. soo nice seeing him again. ate at Spaghetti House (felt like poo after), chatted about basically everything that related to school and Schulich. my gawd.
- got back to UST around 11:40. longest walk back to rez ever. not feeling so hot.
- Kerks went nuts and did some massive room cleanup. it's squeaky clean now.
- we then watched GOSSIP GIRL. YAYAYAYAYAYAYA.
- it's now 2am, Joce just left my room from our insightful convo.

well, trip was productive and successful.
tried a lot of new food. experienced my first van party. almost died multiple times in Wiet traffic. held my first python. got burnt (my back is in pain). and etc etc.
aside from being around my favourite ppl, i'd say the food was one of the best parts of the trip. we ate 4-5 meals a day. pretty schweeet deal.

came back to UST around noon yesterday.
went to bed by 7pm and slept until 8 this morning.
i am scared to check my email, because there are about 10 new emails every hour or so.

Ktran said that I'm going to miss HK that much more cause all the workers are so nice to me. it's true.

went to TST for Indian food with the regulars.

i ate. watched half of Kidnapping Granny K (mad boring). then um, went back to sleep around 1:30................until 5pm. i wouldn't have woken up if Joce hadn't barged into my room. but thanks i guess. i went to find Ktran, and hea'd, and then showered, and then headed off to MK.

met up with the rest of the crew (i love all your new haircuts--esp you JLa :] ), ate, watched 3 Kingdoms (according to Ktran, it's 10 -_-).
Headed back to UST around 12:30 and they big2'd again.

Seafront lady was super random today cause while i was buying my mango drink, she said...you are very pretty...in Chinese. i'm like...HAAH? "lei tow seen gong meh yeh?" she serves me practically everyday and never says anything to me. but ok. thanks again i guess.

it's now 4:30 in the morning.
i am sleeping over in Ktran's room to "pui" her.

On Tues night, I had a brief meeting, then went back to rez, and I was in the common room from 6pm - 2am because our room was too hot...and there was AC in the common room. It was so cold. Wai Zin joined me, then Joce and Kerks came, then other ppl dropped in and out (Michael, French Julie, Kat, Ktran). I was slaving away on Entre. and wrote absolute bull crap on that assign. After I was done, I finished watching Step Up on my ipod and went to bed around 3am.

On Wed morning, I woke up at 8:30am to return the library book before 9am. Then I had to go back to rez to get my passport photo for Vietnam Visa cause I'm a dumbass, then I ended up going back to atrium. But then I ended up not going with the others to get visas cause...I was so tired. I went back to rez halfway, then walked back to LG5 again to get some juk but then...they weren't opened at 10am. So I ended up getting a egg mcmuffin. Went back to rez and took a nap for 2 hours. I was so tired from walking around all morning. Our rez is so far :( Woke up at 12, enjoyed my lunch, and then bummed till class.

After class, had dinner with Beata, Dan, and Ktran at LG5. Had my juk and fried noodle. Then went back to rez, where I ABSOLUTELY refused to do G&T case. holy. i msned and skyped with as many ppl as i could just to avoid doing the bloody work. but good catching up as always. i also made some emails, and since my cousin isn't coming to HK anymore, i'm going to Malaysia with her and her friends during mid-June. and the weekend before that, I'll also be in Malaysia on a church retreat with my aunt. well, might as well travel since no job :S

After much loitering in my room, with ppl coming in and out of our room every so often (Davs, Joce, Ktran, Dan, Wes), i finally started writing my case at 1:30AM WITHOUT reading the case. AHA. thanks ah gor. dan you were too bloody slow. i finished around 2:30...took a shower. Kerks went to bed even with the fruit fly infestation that was going on in our room...and then we slept with the AC on for the first time. we have to pay, but it's like $1HK an hour. it was nice.

i woke up around 9:30 today. and quickly went to wash my hair. JUST my hair. i stood in the shower bent over with my clothes on and just maneuvered the thing...what is it called...the shower head? around.

then went to class.
had dimsum with Kerks and Davs. Kerks is off again for 10 days in Malaysia. i'll miss you roomie :(

then class'd. had such a hard time paying attention today.

then after class, went back to rez, dropped off my stuff and headed for my walk! well, Dan must have thought that I was super cool or something...cause he decided to tag along.

GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. I HEART UST!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

"i woke up early to finish my case. made a quick stop to the dong gu to get my daily dose of depression. the clouds didn't help. but still better than the Canadian snow.

today after class, which i pwned because my paper was sick wit it, i went to take a walk. it was very nice. HK has some pwetty views of the sea from the beach front and the docks. Funny thing, i bumped into my brand management teacher, Rashmi, and guess what?!?! she invited Dan and I into her banging crib. it was one of those apartments subsidized by the university and it was BALLER! the living room was nice, the kitchen was spacious, 2 bedrooms and the MOST AMAZING VIEW EVAAAAAAAAAA!!!! BOO-YAA! i was lost in the view, it was so nice.

i took lots of pictures of the signs around the sea, not the sea itself. like caution and danger signs. i was bored. ho mo liu ah!

OH, I SAW A CRAB!!! IT WAS CAMOUFLAGED!!! well, dan and his keen asian eyes saw it first. then he pussied out and couldn't grab it. there goes crab for dinner. that loser. i woulda man handled that crab easily. the guys on this exchange are such girls. especially froggy dan.

damn, despite the view and nice weather, i got bit gain by those darn mosquitoes. my blood is too sweet. now my count is up to 200000 bites in this ONE spot on my ANKLE BONE!!! its the size of an APPLE! a really really really big apple.

anyhoo, my teacher. she ended up telling us all about her travel journeys and stories and it was very interesting. oh, guess what? chicken butt. no..

her husband's name is BOB!!! WHICH MEANS HE'S WHITE. which means MIX BABY! CUTE!!! aww factor of about 9.5 out of 10. although he was crying when we saw him...errr

then i went back to my room and cleaned after i peed which i held in for quite some time. ouch.

then ghori had a going away dinner which was at our well respected and loved by all seafront. SO CHEAP and good. omelets for dinner. woo-hoo!

i enjoy 8:30 am wakeup calls where I find myself...intensely scratching, well, myself.

after a disastrous brand midterm, we found ourselves at the bbq pits at the beach around 9ish at night, cooking away, well not me, eating away, and falling under the deathly wrath of: mosquitoes.

i got 11 bites. both my ankles are disgustingly fat and pink. they look like...pink parachutes. my gawd.

but good times.

there's been something wrong with my left contact lens all week, it's been blurry, and i've been too lazy to change it. so i get constant headaches due to the imbalance of vision...my left eye is basically blind, whereas my right eye is like a super eye.

i have meetings and assigns left and right this week.
tonight and tomorrow night are going to be long nights.

i don't know why youtube hasn't been working for me. a lot of videos won't load and I'm super behind on Bai Fen Bai and it's making me sad.

i am currently in the library right now, half itching, ppl watching, ocean staring, and not working.

i want to go shopping this weekend.
i want a nice pair of sandals.
i also want to see the peak. and see the harbour again.

i will wake up early starting friday to take morning beach walks.

Show "Xiao Zhu" Lo and Chun Wu's sexuality has always been at question. After the two collaborated in Taiwanese idol drama "Hot Shot," the friendship was upgraded, Show had claimed Chun as his "girlfriend." Two nights ago at the filming wrap-up celebratory party, they were forced by everyone to kiss.

Show had once gone to a hotel room together with Jay Chou, and Jay had thought that he was gay. Show revealed that on top of that he liked to collect pinky, furry things, his mother had one thought he was gay as well. Earlier, Show had named Chun his girlfriend, seemingly an expression of love. Chun also wasn't going to be out done, having been rumored to be with fellow Fahrenheit member Calvin Cheng. After Show and Chun collaboration in "Hot Shot" their friendship upgraded, now even more close, on the line of a rumor.

Two nights ago, at the celebration, the actors all toasted everyone. Show and rumored boyfriend Chun horsing around, besides getting caught up with each other, were also forced for a 'wet kiss.' The two also very openly complied, but at the last second, they shied away. Director Lin He Long, who was a little intoxicated already, had revealed the thoughts of working with the actors in the drama. He said, "Jerry works too hard, hope he'd relax a little. Show is very smart, but too confident. Chun's acting improved in comparison to that in "Romantic Princess," but his Mandarin still sucks just as before, there were lots of scenes that required re-dubbing!"

i also bought 2 packs of 7-D mangoes, and intend to eat them while i "study".

i lost my proactiv facewash. if anyone finds it, please return it to me. i cannot clean my face now because of you. and whoever stole Kerk's block of cheese and my 2 sets of siu mais and hah gaus...you deserve to be jiu jiu'ed.

i don't know what happened.
i was feeling fine all day wed, and then during the night, halfway writing through my assign, i felt this sudden urge to....barf.
i ended up spending about half an hour in the washroom...hovering over the toilet...but NO BARF?!?!
bah. i felt horrible. i went back to the room, Kerks prepared an empty garbage bin beside my bed, took a gravol, and fell asleep...until next morning...where i slept through Strat. geeze.
then woke up at 12, to finish the assign, still feeling like i needed to barf (that feeling, where you need to burp, but you can't, so everything feels like it's stuck in the upper chest). managed to go to G&T just to hand in assigns. the prof was like, you looked pretty sick on Tues as well. so i didn't stay for class, got me some "juk" and went back to rez, where I died until 5:30pm.

watched 3 eps of The Hills when i woke up. all caught up again. i can't wait to see steeeeephen.

went to bed at like 9 something ish.
just woke up about half an hour ago.

i need a shower.

p.s. i'm already so jealous of all those going on exchange next year. sighs.

ok so. strat was not nearly as bad as he made it sound, average was freakin 82, but regardless, alison koh, still got shafted. i was way way below average. eff guy, i've gotten 60s on 2 midterms so far. double you tee bee.

so school was depressing today.

i'm totally scratching off the enjoying school to the fullest bs that i made up the other day. not happening.

ate lunch with Ktran. long chat. was sad when the thought of 4th year came up.

then met up with Ghor to go to MK to find Ktran.
it felt strange walking through the crowds of MK today.
i still hate it, but for some reason, i missed it cause i haven't done it in so so long...
there was an LJ today at the camera store. he he he. mmmhmmmmm. and my stnds have not lowered all right.
Ktran got a new cam, and i think i might um go back and buy it tomorrow o_0

then came back to UST by myself, bumped into Joce at Seafront, she watched me eat and we oogled over the idea of being 4th years again, for the 2nd time today...
...seriously, today, very depressing day.
JLa and Dan joined after.

I went back to rez to clean. about time.

then i received a message and started going bonkers. then called the mother.

"shiet. i'm going to marry an "ah cha" because i'm doing so "cha" in school"

then tried to read a case, did JLa's Mandarin speech lol.

and now i'm here.

my ears kept popping today at school today. and on the mini bus. so annoying.

i'm going to Vietnam mid-april.

Wed March 19
- the team met up 9:30pm @ UST
- MTR'ed all the way to ShenZhen
- got there around 11pm, 6 of us squished all into 1 taxi (the first sketch ride of the trip) to go to Queen Spa
- one word to describe the Spa: HEAVEN
- fruit buffet, ice cream galore, big screen tvs, reclining chairs, full body massages, pretty China girls, sauna, jaccuzzi, disposal underwears, see through glass showers (but they fog up), pretty bathrooms with mirrors and products set up for you----i don't know how to describe this place since there are no pictures to prove it, but it's stuff you dream about or see on TV.
- crazy employee who wouldn't stop talking to me about Canada and universities
- "would you like cupping or scraping?"
- 1st JLa Moment: Julie La appearing from nowhere out of the steam and fog with arms wide open geared up in disposable bras and panties and screaming "TAKE MEEEEEEE"

Thurs March 20
- stayed up until 6am to catch 9 am flight to Beijing
- again, 6 of us squished into 1 taxi
- ate lunch at crappy ShenZhen airport
- supposed to fly at 9am, ended up leaving at 10am, 3 hour flight in total, slept through both the take off and landing
- arrived in Beijing around 1pm, taxi'ed to our Hotel (Beijing Hua): had our own kitchen, living room, and 2 beds that we pushed together to fit all 6 of us, nice place. it was right to this huge mall, Joy City, and it had super nice stores inside, and there were so many other clothing stores right across our hotel. The hotel room we got only allowed 2 occupants (Julie & Joe), and so, the 4 of us would pair up and walk in about 10 mins after the other pair goes in. We did this everytime we entered or left the hotel. my partner was Ghoribet :D
- went to KFC to grab a bite (ended up being our dinner)
- headed off to see the Forbidden City. since Beijing is so strict on only having 4 ppl to a taxi, we had to get 2 taxis. our taxi was supposed to follow the first taxi, but he ended up getting stuck in traffic and lost the other taxi, and so he started getting MAD angry and was MAD swearing and cussing. i got yelled for not owning a phone in China and not knowing my friend's non-existant China numbers. jerk. but this was one of our many encounters with angry Chinamen.
- finally got to Forbidden City. bought Princess hairbands and Emperor hats. we went there kind of late, and the gates were closed and so we apparently really only walked around the entrance of the City for 2 hours. but i, personally, thought that that was the whole city.
- didn't even go to TianMen cause it was closed as well
- literally walked more than halfway back to our hotel
- got back to the hotel around 8:30 pm and all 6 of us were so wiped out that we all went to bed at 9PM
- this marked the first of many spoonage nights

"nah. just go to bed"

Fri March 21
- woke up at 9am, got ready by 11, ate @ Joy City Mall (it was a sit-down restaurant, but they made you pay right after you ordered, and dog was on the menu)
- taxi'd to Great Wall (Ba Da Ling). about 1.5 hours, got 2 taxies (thinking back, we probably maybe most likely definitely got jipped)
- Great Wall is pretty effin cool. we went to the toursity side, and there were lots of old ladies and men selling stuff on the wall. we were there for about 2.5 hours, had to meet our taxi guys aroudn 6pm. we were exhausted after. the steps were higher than my...legs. gah. weather could have been clearer and better. but it was good.
- got back to our hotel, then went to a restaurant wanting Peking Duck, but they didn't serve it, so we left :S And then headed off to another restaurant and got us some Peking Duck.

Sat March 22
- JLa and ah gor were sick, so the 4 of us went to Summer Palace
- best part was dressing up as Wang Zhu GeGe, the guy who took pictures of us was really old and funny.
- got back to hotel, was so tired, napped (missed out on shopping, there was an alikoh mall right beside our hotel)
- went to Cheung K...buffet at 12am. the rest of the kids left around 3am, me and Ktran sang until SIX AM. AHAHAHAHAHA.

Sun March 23
- went back to Forbidden City (PART II). so this place is actually GINORMOUS. heh. stupid me.
- then visited Tiananmen Square. pretty boring there.
- went back to Alikoh mall!! but i only got 2 pairs of sunglasses. boo.
- then headed off to train station to take 11 HR sleeper train to Xi'an. all the hard sleepers were sold out, so we had to settle for expensive soft sleepers, however, it all worked out well. i think we left around 9pm-ish.

Mon March 24
- got to Xi'an around 8:20am. i really hate coming out of train stations. having herds of chinamen and women swarm at you and yelling at you in Chinese is blechalsdkjfa;lsdkf. so there was a sketch man that saw Joe reading his LP and said that he was a representative from the hostel that we were looking at. uh OK. but ya, man turned out to be super nice and helpful. i liked the hostel that we stayed here the best. Bell Youth Hostel. high recommended.
- we hired a tour guide from the man and we went to Bapo Village, a place where they made Terracotta Warriors, and then the Terracotta Warriors Museum--soooooo coool
- got back to hostel, really cool lounge area and restaurant, used the internet exactly at 6:50PM trying to do corp strat assign. no dice. had a banana split for dinnner.
- went night market shopping

Tues March 25
- checked out of hostel, ate lunch at hostel, drew on the walls of the hostel, massive Schulich sign
- went back to the market from last night to shop, bought a load of scarves wahahhaa
- rushed back to hostel around 4 pm to pick up luggage to get to train station for Shanghai.
- only 1 taxi was willing to drive us, but only 4 ppl were allowed on, and so Ghor & Ktran sat on a scooter
- the station was insanely PACKED and disgusting.
- took the sleeper train to Shanghai for 20 hours
- I slept early, lights went off at 10pm, the others Big2'd and played games in the dark

Wed March 26
- i woke up at 11am. played cards, ate instant noodles
- our train arrived at 1:30pm
- again, angry China ppl swarming at us, another sketch man drove us to our Hotel that JLa had booked back home
- only 4 ppl were allowed to a room, so me and Ktran had to bum outside for a bit while the others checked in.
- the Hotel was siccck. we lived like kings. there were 2 bedrooms, a living toom, a balcony, 3 TVs, and Xiao Zhu commercials!! wahahahahhaa
- then we headed off to find Xiao Long Baos, but um, these things are surprisingly hard to find in Shanghai. so we settled at a mini restaurant with a very angry waiter. we got 2 of every dish.
- passed by a stationary store, and a magazine store with Xiao Zhu. talked to the owners for a bit. such nice ppl
- went back to Hotel, i actually learned Big2
- the girls bought a vibrator :S
- that night, royal bonding sesh in the girl's room AHA

Thurs March 27
- Joe & the girls bought us breakfast
- went to Qi Pu Lu (a street of malls and stores that sell cheap stuff), we had to get in 2 taxis, and so the teams ended up getting lost for a bit
- ppl were mad following us for about half an hour. it was pretty crazy
- shopped until 6:30 pm, the girls bought a gajillion boxer shorts. the boys bought fob sweaters
- i started to get sick then
- went to a rando restaurant with no english menu, and so we walked out :S so settled at another with picture menus
- went back to hotel, had a boxer short panty party
- then I slept early cause i was sick, Ghor joined in, then KTran squished in after playing Big2
- Ktran moaned a lot that day (she was getting sick too)

Fri March 28
- woke up around 1:30 PM
- headed off to Nan Jing East Road, it was very nice, very much like HK, except more spacious
- tried to find Xiao Long Baos again, ended up eating it at a fast food Dumpling food court
- went into a Beijing Olympic store, had a very sketch elevator
- passed by a cheap underground market, a lot of cheap imitation wallets, coin purses, and bags
- went to the Bundt (I totally FORGOT that Xiao Zhu filmed Corner with Love here!!!! AHHH)
- crying poor lady asked us for money, and right after we gave it to her, she stopped crying
- went back to Hotel
- surprised Ktran with flowers and cake for her 21st!!! (but she lost her camera coming back from the Bundt :( )
- got yelled by our neighbour who had a baby for being too loud
- makeover session with JLa, got ready to go clubbing
- it took a journey and a half to find the right club, went to a restaurant around 11pm, and walked out again :S (I forget why this time)
- we settled at this club called Babyface
- soo crowded, smoky, so much pushing and shoving, the boys went off to mack, while the girls just chilled and danced with our devil lightup headbands (mine got smashed apparently), it was so crowded that i had to dance with a garbage bin inbetween my legs at one point in time
- got back to hotel aroudn 4AM where the others feasted on cup noodles
- we just chilled and looked at pics until 6AM
- slept when it was getting bright outside

Sat March 29
- checked out of hotel by 12, bellboy with our crazy 6 feet high of luggages
- ate at Jamaicablue *beeef buughherr)
- taxi'd to train station, it was a nice station, the others got into strip Big2 this time, creepy old man kept staring, left to HangZhou around 3:50pm. got yelled after an hour because we didn't know we were there already...bad start to the new city
- and again, this time the worst, swarmed by dirty old chinamen. settled with a sketch orgy HOTEL apparently--tears in the bedsheets, scratch marks on walls, horrible stench, SEE THROUGH WASHROOM with sheer curtain
- it was raining, couldn't see anything that night, went to eat at the famous Lo Wai Lo Cai Guan, crashed a wedding reception
- JLa competed with kids, had beggar's chicken without knowing the price (almost freaked out, but it was cheap), had fish from the West Lake, food was good.
- took a sketch van back to HOTEL, this guy ran his own service in his own family van
- we all slept in our clothes

Sun March 30
- woke up at 5:30AM for our flight to Shenzhen
- sketch van came to get us at 6AM
- thought flight was at 9, but it was actually at 8. got to airport by 7, checked in, and boarded
- got to Shenzhen around 10am, ate McDs
- another sketch van brought us to MTR
- took it to Choi Hung, and taxied back to UST
